Since I have been 18 years old, I have worked in multimedia in one form or another. I started straight out of high school at a local nightclub as a Disc Jockey and doing sound and lighting for bands. This got me a job at a local radio station, where I decided that I wanted to work in broadcast media. Since then I have completed the Broadcasting program at Mount Royal College (now University), the 3D Animation and Special Effects program at Applied Multimedia Training Centre, and received a Bachelor of Art and Technology from Vancouver University Worldwide.

This education and experience has led to some interesting opportunities for me career wise. I have worked freelance for years, doing various positions on projects for Discovery Channel Canada, TSN, YTV, CTV Travelnet, Gimbel Eye Foundation, University of Calgary Dinos Athletics and much more. I volunteered at the local (now defunct) cable access channel DCTV. Also of note, I taught Multimedia and Graphic Design at Media Arts Xcelerator Campus from 2009-2011, was Resident Artist/Production Manager at Badlands Animation from 2009-2014, and held the position of Computer Graphic Artist in the News Department at Global Calgary from 2011-2014. From 2013 on I have worked on 1 short film, 2 independent films and a movie of the week for the SyFy Channel, in capacities ranging from Digital Imaging Tech to Graphic Designer to Editor/SFX to Transportation Captain. In 2014, I purchased Badlands Animation’s share of Digital Video Solutions, and am the Creative Partner/Co-Owner of that company to this day.

All this has made me a jack of all trades in the field, but my passion is in Motion Graphics, Editing, and Title Design. I am also an avid WordPress web developer. I am capable of most anything visual, and I bring a joy to every project I embark on.
