How we handle Refunds

Jon Sheppard Media (JSMedia) provides custom, service-based work, including graphic design, web design, video production, animation, motion graphics, and more. We do not accept returns of any kind. All projects involve time, planning, and creative labor, so we treat each one as a completed service once delivered. JSMedia only reviews refunds on the services you purchase. Refunds, if approved, apply to the specific service fee, not to “returned” work, files, or concepts. Third‑party costs such as stock footage, music licenses, printing, or hosting do not have refunds due to the nature of their services.

If you feel a service does not match the agreed scope, contact us in writing within 7 days of final delivery. In your message, include your project name, the service purchased, and a clear description of the issue. This helps us review your request quickly and fairly.

In most cases, we first offer revisions or reasonable corrective work. We may adjust edits, update graphics, or refine copy to better match the original brief. We only consider a partial refund when we cannot meet the agreed scope through revisions.

We do not issue refunds when:

  • The service matches the approved quote, proposal, or scope of work.

  • Delays or changes result from client feedback, late content, or missed approvals.

  • You change your mind, shift your strategy, or cancel a project after work has begun.

  • You do not use, publish, or launch the completed work for your own reasons.

Before you start a project, we outline the scope, timelines, and deliverables in writing. Once you approve that scope and pay any required deposit, we schedule your project and begin work. This approval confirms that you agree to the terms of service and this refund policy.

If you have questions about this policy or want to discuss a concern, reach out to Jon Sheppard Media. We aim to resolve issues in a fair and reasonable way while respecting the value of our time and expertise. This policy operates alongside any rights you may have under Canadian consumer protection laws.
